These are amazingly strong and stable once installed! A few tips: don’t try to install them alone like I did, having two ladders helps a bunch, get a good quality stud finder, when installing a set against a wall, feed your bolts for the uprights through before you put the hangars on the ceiling use a nut to hold them, pre-drill all holes into the ceiling (don’t try to just run the lag bolts into the joists like I started to-you’ll regret it) if you can, snap or draw a line perpendicular to the wall at each joist to give yourself a reference and use a square to make sure everything is parallel- makes installation so much easier. Also use a hangar for a template if you mess up the cardboard one that comes with the kit. These are so strong, I weigh about 225 and got up on them so my wife and kids could hand everything up and so stable and strong I never felt uneasy about being up there. Worth every penny. I actually thought I could fabricate these myself, which I can, but the prices of steel angle and all the hardware came out to be about the same as one of these kits so it’s not worth the extra effort.
