I don’t often post reviews, but the long and short of this product is that it works. I am a habitual nail biter, just by habit, not due to anxiety or anything. But regardless, this stuff works.
Not only is the flavor basically like hand sanitizer, just a horrible bitter taste, but it also stays on for a while. If you bite your nails with this on, you won’t be able to keep that nail in your mouth for long before the taste overwhelms your mouth. It’s tough love, but it works.
I often apply it when I feel it’s starting to run out (like 2-3 days). I also have just been putting it on top of the existing polish, not sure if that’s how I should do it, but I haven’t seen any side effects of it.
I will say, I did not expect that if ANY part of your lips comes into contact with the nail polish on your nails, be ready to taste the bitter if you lick your lips. A bit of collateral damage, but that just means you don’t even want to risk your nails anywhere near your mouth.
