I recently purchased the Lodge Silicone Hot Handle Holder, and overall, I am very pleased with its performance. It provides excellent heat protection, allowing me to handle my hot cast iron skillet safely without any discomfort. This is a fantastic addition to my kitchen tools, especially when using my Lodge cast iron skillet in the oven or on the stovetop.
One minor issue I encountered is that the fit is a little loose. I understand this is likely because it needs to be easily removable for cleaning, but the looseness can make holding the pan handle a bit of a challenge at times. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's something to be mindful of during use. As long as you are aware of this, it remains an acceptable and useful tool.
Despite the slight fit issue, I still give it five stars overall because of the excellent heat protection and the convenience it adds to cooking with cast iron. The material is durable and easy to clean, which is a big plus.
In summary, the Lodge Silicone Hot Handle Holder is a great product that enhances the safety and ease of using cast iron cookware. Just be cautious of the loose fit, and you'll find it to be a valuable addition to your kitchen.

Read this first
I fixed the problem everyone was having because it was not tight enough. I bought this handle mitt $4 bucks and squeezed the rubber handle inside of it. Took a few minutes. But now you slide the whole thing on and double protection is even better. And it’s tight but still comes off easy enough. Wala 😎
