I recently got this newer model Wahl stainless steel beard trimmer after using the previous model for 8+ years! This is the best trimmer for keeping your beard and hair groomed. The battery lasts a long time, and the cordless design makes it super convenient. The new charging port is a huge upgrade from the older model. The only down side with the newer model is you no longer get a number 8 dedicated guard with it. I found some additional guards that fit this style trimmer https://amzn.to/3FiAUde and contain some larger sizes and they've been great. If you need a reliable trimmer this is the one to get. Highly recommend!

I bought this trimmer a year ago and was extremely disappointed with it. The most important part of a beard trimmer for me is its edging ability. This trimmer blade is absolutely pathetic at trimming an edge. My other main complaint is that the wider t-blade (which some people really like) is too wide for me. I find the blade too wide for trimming a curving edge or areas that require more detail like around my mouth and mustache. I actually gave up in frustration after only a few uses. I've been buying the Remington MB-200 for the last 10+ years until they finally stopped making it. The Remington was not a very quality trimmer and I wasn't actually that impressed with its edging ability either, but it was acceptable, and I really liked the adjustable guard and the ergonomic design, which I still think is superior to any other trimmer I've tried. After giving up on the Wahl, I managed to squeeze another few months out of my old Remington, and then I bought a different trimmer that ended up being a piece of junk with a batter that barely lasted for one session from brand new. With almost a year having elapsed, I decided to pull the Wahl back off the shelf and give it another try, but I was just as frustrated as before. However, this time I noticed a paper in the box with a bunch of different attachments that can be purchased for this trimmer. Among these options was a trimmer head that was quite a bit narrower and was called an Extreme Precision Trimmer Blade. This looked very promising so I decided to go for it. I can tell you that I have rarely been so impressed with the performance of a product in such a short time! I touched this blade up against the edge of my beard and got an absolutely perfect sharp edge with no effort. It far surpassed my old Remington or any other trimmer I have ever used! The width is perfect for fine detail work. It snaps in and out of the trimmer very easily, which is good, because I actually also bought a set of guide combs for the t-blade that came with the trimmer and I use that head for trimming my beard to length. So between the extra blade and the guide combs, I have about $110 invested in this trimmer, but I'm absolutely enthralled with it now! It's worth every penny.

Product arrived USED (complete with hair)
