We got snow down south before Christmas this year. Must be global warming. Got these to battle windshield frost. All I can say is , omg they are huge , won't fit in the door pocket of the truck Huge rubber handle. Probably great if your wearing mittens, but we are deep South.

    yesterday, i had my car outside and freezing rain had left about an 1/8" clear sheet of ice on the windshield. It was far below freezing so the ice was very hard. I went to work with this ice scraper and it worked great. It's Heavy duty, and it is well designed for the hardest ice. I'm 68, so i've done a lot of this in my life, and this is the best ice scraper i've owned. At first i thought the thing was overkill, it's so sturdy, but it cut through the ice with surprisingly little effort. so maybe it's not overkill, it's just right.

    These ice scrapers are made of a great material. They are durable and comfortable. The ones I had from last winter broke, but I do not believe they were very expensive, either. The scraper is nice and wide, which beats scraping the frost off my car with a credit card or ID. It's also nice and these come two per pack, so I can place one in both mine and my husband's cars. We live in apartments and do not rent garages, so these will be useful from time to time.

    It's still summer here in Texas, so I will update this review after our first freeze. At least I'll be ready for winter now!

    They look nice, fit well in the hand, don't take up too much space. The problem is they don't work. After living in Detroit for 6 years, I moved much further South to Tennessee. Snow is not a problem but ice is. And these scrappers cannot hand ice on car windows. Seriously disappointing - although it looks like they would scrap off the ice in a 2 - 2.5 in strip, the edge is so malleable that it can't clear the window in more than 1/4 in wide strip at a time - requiring way too much effort to get the ice off. They're going in the trash

    I bought these because of their price and purported durability. It's great that you get two but one of them chipped after the third use. It was a very cold Chicago morning so conditions were rough for a plastic scraper. I was also scrapping vigorously and perhaps my speed caused the breakage.

    I store them in the car, as most people do, and maybe them starting out cold is what made them vulnerable to breakage. The chip is small but it does make getting corners difficult and will leave ice on the window where the chip is.

    I still use the chipped one and the other one and haven't had any more problems. I've used one of them on about 10 occasions. If I were to do it again I'd probably just get a long scraper that includes a brush.
