- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2020Have been wearing JLab bluetooth headphones since 2016 for about 8-10 hours a day for work. Thousands of hours. I do construction and I sweat a lot. I also work out with these. I have never had a single issue. The battery seems to last about two years. I've had two since 2016. They block out a lot of sound, including saws and nail guns, etc. You can't listen to an audiobook if you have very noisy equipment on like a tablesaw but its fine for music. Bass is great too, especially because they seal so well in my ears and I have big ear holes. These come with many different size ear rubbers. my wife have tiny ears and these fit her too.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2019Bought these a little over a year ago and have no complaints.
pros
Sound is overall good
Battery is good, have consistent 10-12 hours a charge. I use them almost everyday for 20-40min and usually charge maybe once every 1-2 weeks.
They're IP66 and seem to be dust/waterproof enough, not afraid to use them in the rain.
The fit is good. They fitted me well, In the beginning they weren't conferable to use for more than a couple of hours at the time, but as i got use to them I had no issues using them for 4-5 hours at the time.
cons
The mic is pretty poor. People often complain if I use the builtin mic instead of the phone mic.
The charger is proprietary so if I forget it I can't charge them. The magnetic solution is not bad it would just be better with usb C.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2018The Epic Sport Wireless is a great workout earbud, but it has it's pros and cons.
PROS:
- Good sound quality in this price range (it's not excellent, but you're not buying this mainly for the audio experience)
- Tactile buttons on the controller, easy to use, no accidental button presses
- Sweatproof (IP66), so you don't have to worry about them during a hard training, or in some light rain
- Regardless of activity, it won't fall out from your ear
- Relatively few skips, Bluetooth connection issues
- 12 hour playtime (only charging them once a week)
CONS:
- After 5 months, first pair of earbuds went completely dead, customer service issued a new one (getting them was around 2 weeks)
- Built-in microphone is a hit and miss (sometimes people hear you well, but often I need to switch back to phone microphone)
- Hard to find the best fit, so noise isolation may greatly vary (you may struggle at the beginning)
- Due to the controls (weight) being on the right side, it tends to slip to the right when running with them
- Proprietary charging cable (so if you lose it...)
- Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2018I bought this because Wirecutter had rated it very highly and I wanted a wireless option for going to the gym. However, even trying all the different sized buds that come with the earphones, none fit my ears properly. No matter what, they are constantly falling out (a problem I've never had with the cheap, wired, one-size-fits-all earbuds I've bought at Target over the years). But that is just one problem with these earphones. They are very inconvenient to charge, requiring a USB port. Further, it's difficult to even tell they are charging and it's very easy to accidentally reverse the orientation of them when placing them in the charger and having them not charge at all. It's also very tough to determine if they are on or off and I have to cover the switch with my hand and look very closely, plus hold the power button for at least five seconds to get a response. I also find the claim that they hold a charge for 12 hours impossible to believe, as on countless occasions I've arrived at the gym and had zero charge in them, after having just used them for an hour or two previously. And now, just yesterday, all of a sudden the left side doesn't work! This is literally the first product review I have written of anything. I am truly baffled by the positive reviews of these earbuds.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2018Pairing and sound quality seem okay after a few days of use.
The main issue here is fit. This is obviously going to vary from person to person but the fit on these for me is atrocious. They simply do not stay in my ear, and no combo of fin or bud helps at all because of how large the main ear unit is. If by some miracle I can get the fit to stay snug it pops out with one step or just moving my jaw, so if I take them out on a walk (let alone a run) they are basically hanging by the behind-the-ear wire, which is really uncomfortable and sounds terrible.
On top of the general fit issues, the package was missing some of the comfort fins (I have no Right Ear-Medium) and one of the tips did not come in a pair.
Seriously, you need to make sure you try the fit of these before buying, because they might be almost useless depending on your ear shape. I've never had a pair of headphones that fit this poorly. You can see the different fins do not vary much in size, which reinforces my general feeling - certain people are just going to be unable to make these fit at all, no matter the fin or tip, which will make these an annoying waste of 100 dollars.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2018I've spent a lot of time and money on bluetooth earbuds, and returned all except these due to a poor fit. Try as I might, I have not been able to get these to pop out of either ear.
The sound quality is excellent and I don't say that cavalierly - I LOVE music of all kinds and truly appreciate quality sound. I was hesitant to buy due to the purchase price but I'm very, very happy I did.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cascos Inalámbricos Deportivos JLab

2.0 out of 5 stars Okay until they stopped working
I've used Jlab headphones in the past and enjoyed them. However, it was difficult from the start to get a perfect fit and one ear never seemed to stay in when exercising.
Nonetheless, the sound quality was decent so I kept on using them although after 5 months they have completely died. Quite disappointed in them overall given my previous pair of the cheaper model were far better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Crap
Keep falling out of the ear even with the biggest in ear attachment. Put them on today and the left side has stopped working, I will get a refund, I have binned your pathetic product
