    I got my case in the color Sandstone and really love how it looks against the white Kindle. It actually makes me want to read even more! I don’t understand the other reviews where they say the ***10th Generation (2019)*** Kindle doesn’t fit - they must not know which Kindle they have. It fits perfectly and the cover closes flush to the device. It’s really all on the care of the product by the consumer. Of course the case will get dirty if your hands are dirty. Of course the fabric will get frayed if you’re death-gripping the sides and causing friction. Of course the magnetic lock will drain the battery if you’re just throwing it your bag carelessly, causing it to open and close over and over again. The brand is not claiming the case to be life-proof like Otterbox does.

    Yes, I will admit that it does add a bit more weight to the Kindle, but it’s really up to you how you choose to use it. I will definitely be using this as protection when I pop it in my bag to work, the beach, on vacation, etc. I sometimes just take it off at home and when I’m reading in bed.

    All in all, I love this case and the color. Gives my Kindle a nice sleek look with the protection that I expected from it.

    I didn't know if the Amazon branded Kindle cover would be worth the extra cost but when it arrived, I was very surprised. Not only is the color excellent, the texture makes holding it very pleasant.

    2 things to note, the cover that moves is magnetic. When you open it, the Kindle will react and wake up. Then, once the cover is folded back, the magnet holds the cover open so that is isn't swinging and loose when reading.

    Also, the bottom is fully open so that there is no need to remove the cover to charge or access the power button on the bottom. I like how the case is the perfect size on the bottom so that you can easily reach the button, but you won't accidentally push it when you set the Kindle on something.

    Very very nice cover... highly recommended.

    My perspective: I keep my Kindle in a pocket (cargo pants/shorts) while I work and I read on breaks. Since I work in a warehouse, I felt it prudent to protect the display. This is important to me as I've found that if I don't have my book at arms reach, I will not find time to chase it down to read it. Keep this in mind as you read my thoughts as my needs may differ from your own.

    The case is reasonably thin for what it is. I wish it could have been thinner. It's also a bit on the heavy side. This does make the Kindle feel more substantial, but I do find myself missing how the naked device felt as though it wasn't even in my pocket. As for functionality, the wake/sleep feature works like a charm. The magnets keep the cover shut and do a fine job of keeping the cover from flopping about when folded over to read. I can also use the cover to stand the Kindle upright in portrait. Landscape users may find it hard to stand the reader up on a smooth surface. The fabric front and back do add a bit of grip.

    Overall, it's fine.

When I found it, the cover had a mark on it. I don’t know if it was there previously or if it got on there in the remodel, but I loved it so much that I hunted down the same one to replace it. It feels super comfy in your hands, flips onto the kindle seamlessly and I love the color. It fits my Kindle like a glove. I can't imagine having a different one.
