    This is a tasteful compact book. The descriptions and pictures were well done. Great for those who aren't very adventurous in the bedroom. Itwould also useful for those lacking skills in the foreplay and romance department. I am playful and have a wild side in the bedroom but, my boyfriend...not so much. I Got this to try and give him the nudge and perhaps curiosity to go out of his comfort zone. I haven't given it to him yet, waiting to pair it with some Kama Sutra products, couples games and restraints while wearing some sexy lingerie on Valentines Day. It seems to be a great guide for ones who are more timid. I have had lovers that this book would not be suitable for because they were already open to most things. Personally I think it was worth the money for my situation but perhaps not for all. Easy read and will be nice to refer back to later. This is going in my sex arsenal. Very happy with it.

    This is exactly the book I was looking for. It made a nice Valentine's Day gift. The book has plenty of illustrations. I preferred these artistic illustrations to the color photographs in other sex books. Also I like the extra sections that freely summarize and apply courting and lovemaking advice from the ancients to contemporary society. The poses that "lack" illustrations do so only because they are simply variations on an already pictured pose and the book refers you to that illustration and gives all the necessary instructions for the variation. For these a second illustration would have been redundant. All the poses are humanly possible and the authors have done a nice job of pulling from multiple ancient sources as well as adding their own wisdom on topics where the ancients were simply mute (e.g. positions for giving a woman oral sex). Overall a good book. Bonus: the binding is excellent if you like good looking books.

But there are some friends of mine I know who seem rusty in this department, so they seem like they need a good sit down with this book. So I will recommend it to them. But I wanted to learn more about the philosophy, traditions, or ancients. That was the only interesting part.

    I have purchased this tiny book 4 times...now do not judge...each time has been as a gift. I PROMISE! Seriously though, they make the perfect gift or addition to a gift for a bachelorette party! In addition, once she opens her gift, you can turn it into a bachelorette party game (if you're the crazy game party group type). Here's what we did:

    The bachelorette would thumb through the book and pick out a position and would then pick out one lucky girl to be the contestant. Then that lucky contestant and a blow up doll (We already had a male blow up doll --again don't judge us lol) OR you could use another party goer have to reenact the bachelorette's chosen position. Everyone will be clothed and laughing up a storm, which just makes it all so awkward and hilarious. This may sound absolutely crazy but trust me, at every bachelorette party that we've done this, it has been an absolute hit! The bachelorette does this with however many people want to participate and then chooses a winner. Then that winner wins a prize.

    And that's that. That's really as far as my interaction with the book actually goes. All the now wives I have given it to rave about it though, so I guess it's a great book! I hope this helps!
