    Flawless look, great view..very luxurious! You get what you pay for..it is amazing! I would like it to stay on longer when I am working on my mug but I feel like it turns off so quick and I catch myself waving or have to work closer to the mirror which I don't really like..that is why I got this one because after trying the 8 inch mirror it was difficult to work soooooo close tot he mirror with long brushes and when you need to see the overall mess you created.

    Was looking for a mirror for my daughter and all of them seem to be the same.... plastic crap. I was hesitant to purchase this one because of the price. It is a great mirror, Beautifully crafted - Price is still ridiculous! The price should be no more than $250. Since I have many SimpleHuman products, I know the quality is above anything else you will own but this price is over inflated to the extreme!
    Other things that would have made this a better product is the placement of the magnifying mirror. It only attaches in one spot - which is too low. You will find yourself squishing down to see into it.
    The next thing would be to make the mirror adjustable vertically. This would also help with the squishing down you have to do with the Mag Mirror. My daughter uses it at her counter vanity that is standard height and we had to find another vanity stool to use because her other one was too high to use with this mirror.
    I would only recommend this mirror if they made some changes and drastically reduced the price!!

My wife downloaded the app on her iPhone and you can switch the settings and background easy. She still tells me see loves the mirror. The mirror size is perfect and I would recommend this mirror.     Sleek industrial design but horrible user interface and user experience. The only instructions (if you can call them that) are within the application. Questions through the support interface are unanswered. The mirror has a proximity sensor that defaults to 5 seconds without close movement before the mirror light shuts off. It can - theoretically - be configured for a longer delay, but the configuration only seems to be able to be done when the mirror is charged and not plugged in to a fixed power source. So you have to cycle between charging, discharging, reconfiguring and then re-booting this mirror to get it to work - before it shoots itself in the head and you have to start all over. FAQ's are non-existent, app has nice icons and a non-sensical workflow and dead-ends. It is a very pretty brick that occasionally lights up on its terms instead of yours.

    I had high hopes for this mirror but it will not sync with my wifi. I contacted customer service only to be referred to a YouTube video about syncing. I had explained I couldn't get my mirror to the place where you even could begin syncing. The green light would not blink, which it must do in order to sync. Follow up questions were ignored. This mirror cost way too much money for such shoddy quality and poor customer service. Don't waste your time or your money.

    This mirror is fantastic. I was very dubious due to all the poor reviews but here are a few things I learned:
    1. When setting up the WI-FI connection, make sure you put the mirror next to the router THEN move it
    2. If you get stuck, contact customer services - provided you’ve downloaded the app and attempted a Wi-fi connection they really can help and are terrific

    All the gimicky stuff to one side, this is my main bathroom mirror and looks splendid and works well as a mirror. The sensor lighting is great too and the standard settings for brightness are fine for me.

    Couple of things that mean it’s not a five star product:
    1. Battery life is quite bad
    2. The slightest touch and you leave a dirty fingerprint on the base
    3. The sensor is a little bit short-range and so there is sometimes the need for hand waving

    I’d recommend this product though. The lack of need to have it wired in, the huge viewing angles and the light make it a very useful and practical product as well as being pleasing on the eye.
