A robe for the next 25+ years
5’4” 144 lbs I chose this robe to replace a 25+ yo robe made by my sister. The colors are so rich and vivid. This photo is an accurate representation of the color, bright red with navy blue. The arm length starts 1-1/2” off my shoulders and falls to the back of my hand. The sleeves are full enough for me, if you have large upper arms and another layer underneath they may be snug. Easy enough to push up and out of the way in the kitchen. The robe covers my “leg pit” falling just below my knees. With my waistline there is a 10-11” overlap. I don’t find it a problem but it has no inside tie. The belt loops are at an appropriate location for me. It is well made with no areas left unstitched eliminating any chance of fraying. The addition of a chest (tissue) pocket would be nice but it’s absence is not a deal breaker. I shopped from the men’s selections for fit (length and roominess) and color. I think this robe will carry me thru the next 25+ years, the quality of the fabric and craftsmanship is that good.

    It's hard to find a nice flannel robe these days one that fits right,the right thickness and one of quality...
    This was not the cheapest flannel Robe but after looking at many reviews and researching other places I decided to take my chances with this one. This is an item you will be wearing every day so you want to buy a good one.
    As a Prime member this is usually an easy choice because you don't have to pay the extra ten bucks for shipping. It's an added bonus that Amazon makes returns so easy if it doesn't fit properly
    I ordered my shirt size which is extra large and it fit well, (6' 230lb) you can tell it will get more comfortable after the first washing, the flannel is not too thick and it's not too thin but it does not feel cheap it feels nice, the sleeves were at the right length but if you need to fold them up it just looks like a cuff.
    It has a nice belt the loops tht the belts go in, they are always too high for me because I'm long-waisted but they still worked fine.
    It has a nice shawl collar, you can pull up if you need the extra warm but it's nice and thick if you need it . I got the black and white one the colors are vibrant and are impressive looking.
    This reminds me of the flannel shirts I used to buy back in the old days, not overly thick but also not too thin
    I was pleasantly surprised when I took this out of the package and felt the quality of the flannel which is why you pay a little extra instead of buying the cheapest robe. This can be worn winter or summer. Time will tell but I think it will hold up nicely robes take a lot of abuse this one will be your friend everyday.
    It Does shrink so if you like it Loose I would size

    So, some of the reviews comment about how thin this robe is. I have to say, if you like flannel PJ's and Flannel sheets, you'll like this. Yes, it's thin flannel. But it;s very warm and comfortable and should be great on cold Winter evenings and mornings. The fit is far better than expected. I'm 5'-7", 175#, barrel chest. This robe fits as expected. The sleeves are slightly long when standing but sitting, they are perfect and for sleeves with no buttons, I had hoped they'd be long when standing. The wrap belt is a good length, enough to tie into a knot that won't loosen up. The colors match the photo and the stitch quality seems good. All in all, better than expected and with Amazon next day delivery to my place, it made it all the better.

    I bought the green and white plaid and I like the color. I am 5'10' and 160 ibs. I bought the large. I wear about all large tops. This is/was a little roomy but OK. I figured if I washed and dried it, it would fit me better and it did. The sleeves seemed to shrink more than the rest of the robe. The sleeves now are just about 1/4 in above the top of my hand. So I think a medium would be short on me. The rest of the robe is still roomy, I suppose so it could fit someone with a big stomach but its OK. The shoulders are a tad wider than mine. This robe is made with decent cotton material. It did not leave half the material in the dryer filter like one I bought and returned to Macy's last year. So its a decent robe of medium wt. I have another thick robe if it gets real cold. Its hard to find a decent medium wt cotton robe that fits OK.
