I cannot believe how amazing this has transformed my kitchen. I have a laminate green countertop from the 70's that makes our kitchen look old regardless of what kind of style changes I make. This stuff looks real. I have to say it is no easy task applying it, as it's a lot thicker than regular contact paper, which is exactly what I wanted but harder to handle. My counter top is also deeper than the paper, so I knew I would have to overlap somewhere when placing the paper. What I did is measured my countertop section, cut a piece bigger than the counter then used a super sharp razor to trim the rest once I placed it. I've used it on my whole kitchen and am purchasing another roll to do my kitchen island. The kitchen island has a newer gray top but I still would rather cover it with this stuff than leave it the way it is. I plan to write another review in about six months to update on how it is holding up, but for now I don't think it will have any problems. A couple things when using this paper...I will always use cutting boards if I cut anything because I am afraid it would leave marks on the paper and I have purchased clear caulk to put around the sink and even some of the seams to ensure that the paper stays down. It is super sticky but I could see the adhesive wearing off after repeated exposure to water. Especially near the sink. I would buy this a million times over, as long as it is a product from VViViD. (I also went to their website and watched a couple videos to assist with the process and I suggest you do the same). I learned you can take a heat gun or hairdryer and get out any wrinkles or bumps. People wrap their whole cars in this stuff so I would imagine it has to be durable. Great product and am going to buy again.
