The product arrived on time although it does not perform as I expected. The spirals (with the thinnest attachment) are too thick. I tried the machine with carrots, and you get the same results you would get with a grater, meaning I didn't get the spirals I was looking for. You also end up wasting a lot of the vegetable. I think the machine goes too fast to get continuous spirals and the top handler that's supposed to hold the vegetable in place does not work. When I first tried to use it it wouldn't turn on, I thought it was because I had gotten a faulty equipment, but in reality the lid has to go in a specific way for the machine to turn on, it may seem you are forcing it, but that is the correct way. I ended up painting a small mark with nail polish to make sure where the lid is supposed to go.Before you buy it take into account that it only operates at 120V. You need to get a current transformer if your current has a pressure of 220V.Also, the brochure it comes with states that the plastic used to make the machine might cause cancer. I really could have used that information before buying it.I don't think I'll be using this machine often and instead I'll buy a manual spiralizer, maybe it'll work better and won't give me cancer.

I have been having so much fun with this Spiralizer – I can’t believe that I used to do all this the hard way with a hand crank one. My daughter is a huge fan of this brand and suggested The Gourmia when I mentioned how difficult my old spiralizer was to work with. This cuts my food prep time easily in half and gives me a LOT more options.

The Gourmia is super easy to use. The concept is intuitive even if you’ve never used a spiralizer before. You decide which blade size you want (it comes complete with one for ribbons, one for noodles, and one for thick noodles), then position whatever veggie you’re working with in the wide mouth auto feeder. The food pusher helps the food feed down through the bladed cone and your creation drops down into the EasyGrip work bowl. It’s seriously that easy. The base of the unit (where the motor is) is compact and takes up very little room on the counter. (Total bonus points for how sleek and professional it looks)

A couple things that I found noteworthy:
    • You never again have to chop your vegetables up first! You use uncut vegetables with this – the Gourmia does all the work.
    • This isn’t a food processor. It isn’t going to chop, mince and dice. It makes gorgeous spirals of just about anything in whatever thickness you prefer.
    • It doesn’t trip my circuit breaker! (this probably isn’t an issue for you but in my kitchen it’s an issue with other appliances)
    • You’re not limited to only healthy stuff! With the ribbon blade I was able to create the most beautiful white chocolate spirals to decorate a cake that I had made.
    • It comes safely packaged in high quality retail packaging – would make a perfect wedding or house warming gift.

I’m completely tickled with my purchase. I especially appreciate that there was a recipe book included (in the box, not a downloaded one) that has recipes that are not only easy and fast, but also delicious.

I bought this because I thought it would be better than my hand crank one. Initially I was unable to get it to work. Called the company and after using a key to move the lever to confirm it was getting power I was able to put the top on securely enough to make it work. Today I tried to use it again and it is so difficult to get it to engage the switch I had to try 5 times to get it to "click" and engage the switch.
I would not recommend it to anyone who does not have a lot of strength in their hands. I am almost 70 and have some arthritis and it is so hard to turn the top enough to engage the switch. Very disappointed. I am going back to my hand crank one and will give this one away to someone stronger.
Also, if you put this on the counter, the feet leave black marks. They wash off, but annoying.
On the plus side, if you do get it to engage, it works great.

I have been eyeing spiralizer products for several months, until I decided to buy this one. Several things stuck out at me. It is electric and not manual. This is great because, as we know, some vegetables are really hard to maneuver by hand. The engine is strong and definitely powers through those harder vegetables. I love that there are three blade designs enabling me to make noodles of different sizes. This appliance is comfortable to use and is stable when you are pushing the vegetables through the feeder. I appreciate that it is safe and will only turn on once the feeder is locked… always worried about my fingers! I am excited to make easy and HEALTHY meals with this spiralizer. Also, love the recipes included!

I was actually about to send the Spiralizer back but then I read a couple of reviews and people wrote "as long as you do it correctly it works..." I started thinking and tried it again...I used the tips of some people and I got it to work! I made zucchini and carrot spaghetti. It didn't work for me with the butter squash though. I think it isn't as simple as you would think just bc you have to cut it right, put it in there right and getting carrots in there really isn't easy. Zucchini works the best.

I am keeping it bc even though it's hard to get the veggies in there it's still faster than if I did it by hand. I mostly use it for carrots and zucchini.

-works well with zucchini and carrots
-faster then the non electric Spiralizer
    -easy to clean
-wastes less veggies with this one

-doesn't work on a lot of different veggies
-is kind of hard to figure out at first
-is not super easy to handle
-to expensive if you pay the full prize (which I didn't)

    Fantastic product!

We have been looking to get an electronic spiraliser for quite some time. We have been using a basic hand held one and also a more sturdy manual one for a while, but this one is far far superior!

So simple to set up. Three different heads are provided for different sized spirals!

It spiralises with such ease even hard veggies like carrots! Our old manual ones only worked with soft veggies like courgettes ... but this electronic version does the harder ones too and with such ease we now have so much more to do with it!

Really happy with the quality of the spiralised veggies that it can produce.

We have only had it for a week now, so can't really comment on the long term quality, but from what we have seen it is very well built and sturdy and should last for a long while!

All in, a well made machine that works superbly well and promotes healthy eating in our family... Hey! Even our little ones wanted to take spiralised carrots and cucumber to school this week!!!!!

I am so disappointed with this spiralizer. I just doesn't hold the vegetables in to spiralize. It's hopeless and a complete waste of money. I've tried all sorts of veg and not one of them works. It just pulps the veg into a mass. Even if I press down hard the veg is not held in place. I was so looking forward to this, especially after reading the previous reviews. I wish I could get my money back and try another type but I've thrown away the box now! I was so confident this would work.

Love this product, especially when it comes at such a great price. Really easy to use, making courgette noodles instead of spaghetti is such an easy switch with this machine when trying to eat healthy. Just spiralised and cooked in marinara for 3 minutes, such an easy, healthy meal. As I take pride in my food presentation this also add a really great touch to salads, using spiralised beetroot and carrots.

Bit disappointed with this. Quite easy to use but it turns the vegetable into a point so fair amount of waste; and just spiralizing one carrot makes for a lot of washing up.
