If your graphic card is 5yrs are older this game wan't play right.Upgrade your graphic card before you purchase this game.I have a Radeon HD 5670 with 1 gb gddr5,directx 11,opengl 3.1,dual mode crossfirex,supportfor multiGPU.It runs Just Cause 2 with out any problems.you need a i5 or i7 cpu for best performance.

    I am a big fan of the Just Cause series, and I was dying to play this game, heck I got happy when I saw this game for only 21 dollars. I bought the game downloaded the game (38gb) everything was fine until the game crashed. Not only did it crashed, but I got a blue screen of death.

    These are my specs

    Intel i7 6700k
    64gb Ram
    (2x) Titan x Pascal graphic cards (yes I know the game doesn't support sli)

    as yall can see I have a beast of a computer. There is no need for crashing. Sad part of the situation is, I can't find a download link for the damn patches. I looked into steam and I found a few things of interest, but there wasn't a download link available. =(

    I really want to give this game a shot, since I bet the game is hell of fun, but when the game crashes, is impossible for anyone to enjoy.

    **sigh** if anyone can provide a link for the patches I will be totally grateful. If the patches work, I will happily boost up my rating for this game. Until then, a 1 star it is.

    ***UPDATE**

    Finally fixed my problem. It turns out MSI Afterburner was giving me this huge problem and also, launching the game from steam rather than clicking the desktop icon helped a lot. The game in no way shape or form is perfect but it is playable. Over 60fps in 4k :) I am having a blast.

    Raised my 1 star rating to a 5 star rating.

    4 stars because of the actual gameplay, utility, re-playability, and fun-factor. I would've given it 3 stars if I didn't like the game so much because I've never had to perform so much surgery to make a game playable for my computer. I have a GTX660, i5, 8GB RAM, I can run most games at high (GTA-V, PS2, etc.). JC3 has a massive memory leak or something so unless you have 16gb of memory which no one should ever need at this point for regular gaming you are going to have an unplayable experience. To actually play the game without so much stuttering and lag you have to lower the graphics to med/low, use borderless gaming utility from steam amongst other "fixes" until they patch the problem of playability which they don't seem to be in any hurry to fix. The game is great though, this is my first jUst Cause title and I am having a lot of fun, it makes me want to go back and play the other titles.

    I was skeptical about purchasing this because of all the issues i've heard that people were having with the game on PC, but I took a chance anyway and bought it. I have not had any issues with it myself, I am running the game on medium settings and that is because i have a GTX 660 video card, so that was another reason I was skeptical because of the requirements it says it needs. But the game works just fine for me with my setup. I hae an I7-4790K, 24gb RAM and GTX 660.
    It is a fun game to play. I would recommend it if you like this type of game and need something new to play.

    Bought this season pass DLC just so I could get the expansions one week early as advertised. Didn't work. Had the pass and the DLC didn't show up early. Contacted support. Waited a day and contacted support. Took another three days for them to send back boilerplate stating I needed to have the pass which I had already told them I did. They clearly knew of the problem since they posted a solution for PS4 only on twitter. Needless to say even though I paid for the privilege I did NOT get the DLC early. This on top of many bugs that existed on day one STILL not being fixed make this a bad purchase

    Fun game with lots of quality of life improvements over Just Cause 2. Looks great. But runs terribly on PC. May run better or worse on console but I don't know because I only got it for PC. And it's not my PC as I have a mid-tier PC and it still runs awful with all the settings turned down. Also many others are reporting poor performance as well. This game has been out for quite some time now and still has not been patched to improve performance which is just shameful. If they fix performance I will update my review.

    PROS: Mindless fun, if you enjoyed the previous version, you'll enjoy this. Many things are refined and polished, and you can tell the developers worked hard on the game. Lots of weapons, huge map, some new interesting mechanics. Michael Bay would be proud.

    CONS: It might be a little TOO similar to the previous game. Constant respawns at bases are a pretty big annoyance, just as the last game. Story is generic and non-sensical, although anyone familiar with the franchise will go into it expecting this.

    As fun as this game's mechanics can be, it's really just a playground. There's little depth to the game, little narrative reason to actually DO anything in the game, especially a map this size. It's daunting. Fans of the series will no doubt take little issue with this, since Just Cause has always been just about blowing stuff up -- however, for newcomers looking for another open-world series to get into, I would look elsewhere.

    Game is fun! It is different than JC2 but it is still a lot of fun to play. The negative reviews were all from AMD graphics card users. The problems with AMD graphics cards have been fixed and it works fine now. Don't blame the game for bad drivers. This is typical with a lot of games when they are released, they work fine on Nvidia graphics cards because Nvidia always keeps their drivers updated, AMD always takes a few weeks or more before they have proper working drivers for newer games. This game is working fine on my kids PC with a AMD R9 290 video card, no glitches.
