    This yoga/exercise mat is as good as more expensive mats I've purchased. I find it not slippery: the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands stay securely in place when doing floor work. I use my mat for athletic stretches from Bob Anderson's book titled Stretching. I include a couple of yoga postures, for which the mat seems well suited. I use my mat about five days a week. I like the mat's light weight and thin profile. It's the perfect mat for stretching exercises. By the way, Anderson's book is excellent and, for this senior citizen, I find it a bit easier to do than yoga routines. Stretching: 30th Anniversary Edition

    I returned this item because it was far too slippery. In downward dog, as soon as my hands got slightly sweaty, I was sliding all over. Also, the matt is too "squishy." I ended up with hand prints and foot prints in the mat that took a while to recover to normal.
    Also, the carrying strap didn't work very well since the matt was too slippery... it was slipping around as well.
    Positives: no plastic smell. Comfortable - a good thickness. Easily laid flat when unrolled.

    I bought this a few months ago. The foam seems like it's a decent thickness but I was never able to use it because I can't stand the smell of it. It gets on my hands just from carrying it around and even hosing it down and leaving it outside to air out didn't do enough to kill the smell. Unfortunately, I really can't recommend this.

    In schönem kräftigem Blau liegt die Yoga-/Trainingsmatte mit 6mm Stärke sehr rutschfest da. Von der oberen Struktur sehr angenehm.
    Sehr schön weich ist sie zudem auch. Die Matte lässt sich leicht und vor allem praktisch zusammendrehen und mittels des mitgelieferten Tragegriffes, welcher einfach via Gummizug über die Matte gestülpt wird, mitnehmen bzw. tragen.

    Die Matte wiegt leichte 1,4 kg.

    Sehr auffällig ist der sehr starke Geruch der Matte. Zum Ausdünsten ging die Matte erst mal einen Tag auf die Veranda. Der Geruch ist nun fast verflogen.

    Bis auf den anfänglichen Geruch, durchaus für gelegentliche Übungen eine Empfehlung wert.
