This is my first cordless vacuum, and I'm exceptionally pleased with it. My house has about equal parts carpet/hardwood, and I bought this vacuum to handle the hardwood. It does very well, the battery lasts for as long as I need, and it's easy to empty and disassemble. My satisfaction with the vacuum stems mostly from what I expect from it, which I mean to say that I don't use it as my primary vacuum for carpet. It lacks the power of a standard upright vacuum and the head isn't as wide as a typical upright, and it struggles a little bit with high pile carpet, so if you plan on vacuuming your entire house with it, you'll likely be pretty frustrated. But for quick, open-floor jobs or houses under 1,000 sq ft, you'd have a hard time getting a better vacuum for less money.
Also, at first I thought it was dumb that the vacuum was equipped with an LED light over the brush head, but I quickly realized that it does an excellent job of illuminating dust and dirt on the floor in a way that overhead lighting does not and makes it easier to see what you're doing. That really helps the cleaning process in a way that I didn't expect.
The only issue I can't speak about is the longevity of the battery. The charge lasts for as long as I need for each job - the vacuum has never puttered out while I've been using it - but all batteries lose their ability to charge over multiple charge/discharge cycles. I haven't had this one long enough to know if it will hold up better or worse than other rechargeable battery systems. So far, so good.

Light, portable, convenient and effective!
I absolutely hate cleaning and I was looking for something to make my life a little easier. If you're a lazy person like me, I hate to drag the darn heavy vacuum around and plug the cord then unplug the cord, as I'm moving around the house. I don't need that extra work when I didn't want to clean in the first place! So my solution was a light cordless vacuum that I can conveniently drag around the house. I read from a blog that this was the best cordless model, completely trusted it, and the many times I have used it - it's been a breeze! I'm very happy with the purchase, and trust me, spending money on a vacuum cleaner is the last thing I wanna spend on. If you buy a good appliance, it's not just the cost of a reliable appliance, but the fact than it can improve your quality of life. One thing is the battery dies pretty quickly, but was expected. For me it's like, welp I'm done cleaning for the day. Seriously though, my house is small so the battery can pretty much do the job. So if you have a bigger house, buy 2 batteries so you can clean everything in one go. I find that it can do decent job on hardwood but even better on carpet! (Better than the bigger vacuums I have used in the past.) I was not given any incentive to write this, for the cost of this thing, you won't be disappointed. Just make sure you clean the filter regularly and clean out all the hair and dust as you go to help the machine do its job.
