The TV itself is beautiful, great picture
The TV itself is beautiful, great picture! Biggest issue is a big design flaw IF you are not utilitzing a TV stand. The connect one box samsung provides is huge. Behind our fire place is an outlet and a HDMI port that connects to a closet on the main floor for your other devices. Due to the box being so big, without actually cutting a hole in the wall (which Samsung states is not up to code for fire safety) this TV will not sit flush to the wall. Same issue with the power cable as well. (See picture) This TV has no ports and no indents on the back to hide the box / power cable to achieve this. Yes they provide you with an “invisible” cable but for the set up we have, this does not work. Wish there were ports on the TV with an option of the box or buying the box as an accessory to better fit most setups in a home. There are some issues with the brightness and lighting while in Art Mode but you can adjust it manually - along with using any white Matte. I suspect this will continue to improve the more they make updates. Keep in mind this is not a thin TV, it is a good 1.5 inches thick - youre paying for the art mode and frame options.

Very impressed. I already have an LG Oled 65" in one room but the idea (or novelty) of a "frame" TV sounded interesting. And that is indeed a fun useful feature but what I did not expect was for the TV picture itself to be so outstanding when not using as a fame but simply watching TV. I bought this from Amazon but had the Geek Squad wall mount this 65 Samsung Frame onto the wall and even the three guys from the Geek Squad were amazed at the amazing picture quality. And these guys install Tv's for a living.
4K looks incredible and I suppose this TV upscales 1080P to 4K because 1080 looks like 4K as well.
Absolutely rivals my LG 65 Oled TV for picture quality.

I was also quite surprised at the great sound quality.
I intended on adding a sound-bar but after listening to the TV sound by itself I don't think a sound-bar will be needed.
As for the Frame part, that looks pretty good but frankly thus far I am more impressed with the TV itself outside of the Frame Feature.
Eventually I will get around to going thru the various Samsung supplied stock photos available on the Frame-Side of the TV.
Samsung offers a monthly subscription for a small monthly fee with a free one month trial to access even more photos to display on this TV however I did not find that worth paying extra for.

As for buying additional "frames" for this TV, I tried the three colors available and recommend only the WHITE or BEIGE (light wood) add-on frames. The DARK WOOD add-on frame is way too dark and looks like the built-in frame that comes standard on this TV. I'd skip buying the DARK WOOD, just does not stand out or add that much difference. The WHITE frame does give the TV a more "photo-frame" effect when the TV is in frame-mode. The BEIGE frame is light wood and also a good choice if your other furniture is of matching lighter colored wood (pine).
But skip the DARK WOOD add-on frame. Just not worth it and especially for the ridiculous asking price for these add-on frames that are made of cheap plastic and simply snap onto the TV. Myself, I went with the WHITE frame.

This TV does fit right flat against the wall, but the optical (optical?) One-Connect cable is extremely thin. Almost like clear fishing line.
Very thin, very invisible, but also very easy to possibly bend or catch on something if not careful to hide this cable away from pets and kids. Very much like dealing with tangled fish line if not careful.
Nearly as thin as the hair strand on the head.
The One-Connect cable is certainly long enough and comes wound on a spool with instructions for proper unwinding.
I was glad I had the Geek-Squad mount and mess with the cable because you would not want to bend or break this cable then have to purchase a replacement cable from Samsung.

As for the One-Connect box feature, I do like that a lot.
HdMi cables going to a separate box and not directly to the TV itself.
The One-Connect box has all the inputs needed, and the One-Connect box hooks to the TV via the single thin clear fish-line-like invisible cable.
Hard to believe this very thin invisible cable carries all that data from the One-Connect box to the TV.
Too bad this cable does not also supply the A/C power.
But the A/C power cable for the TV is thinner and more flexible than most A/C power cables.
Off-white grayish in color and very long is the TV power cable. The One-Connect box itself also has its own A/C power cable. So you're dealing with two power cables for this TV to operate.
I had the Geek Squad run the TV A/C power cable and the thin invisible One-Connect optical(?) cable inside and down the wall so the power cable would be hidden within the wall mounted TV.

Would definitely recommend this TV to others. And especially for anyone wanting to explore the "Frame" feature.
Just be very careful when working with and setting up the thin invisible One-Connect cable.
It truly is as thin and invisible as clear fishing line.
The invisible cable comes wrapped around a spool with connectors hanging out of the spool for each cable end.
Instructions clearly state to start with unwinding the connector marked TV SIDE of the invisible One-Connect cable spool, (again clearly marked with a TV icon on the cable connector). Unwind as much cable as you need to reach the One-Connect box, and leave the remaining invisible cable wound on the spool. Unwinding the entire spool will just make a tangled mess if your connection situation does not need to use all that length.

I bought this TV because I did not want a big black screen hanging on my wall all the time and the idea of changing artwork was appealing. The principle works but in reality there are flaws.
The TV picture quality is OK. Nothing special. There are lots out there with better TV screens at half the price (or less).
The Samsung standard artwork is really a bit limited. I know you can subscribe and gain access to more but for the price of the TV I think that is penny pinching on what is an overpriced product. As for the connectivity!! - I have a Samsung S7 phone and no matter how hard I try I can't get it to connect to the the TV. The Bluetooth sees the TV but then won't connect. I have reloaded the App and have reset up the TV several times (until I just got fed up with having to re enter the same details time and again). I have gone through all the Samsung troubleshooting but that has not solved. Every time I go back to Samsung they want me to start all over again! Also had a problem with a Samsung soundbar which seemed to connect to the TV (by Bluetooth) only when it wanted to!. Also tried to connect the TV to the Samsung soundbar using a digital optical cable and that does not seem to work either. Overall a real disappointment and not worth the extra cost.

I want to like this product so much. We love the design and love the art but after three months the tv is slowly starting to break down. Its under warranty so we are in the process of working through that but am a little nervous about Samsung Customer Service. They have not been super helpful. The remote is having trouble connecting and pairing to the television. It works and will turn the tv on or off but won't let you do anything else. The speakers are cracking and the tv, without touching the remote just turns off in the middle of things and then comes back on. The tv won't stay on art mode, it shows the art, turns off, then turns on. Its almost like something in the television is going haywire. Samsung won't send someone out here until we do a software update (which we have done them all and am pretty sure there isn't one for us to do) and a factory reset. We can't do that until we get our new remote. Just so you know if you have to call they kind of "look down" on buying it from Amazon almost as if they don't stand by their product if its not directly from them which I don't understand because we bought it through them via Amazon. We had push back from them there but they have to honor the warranty. We have had this television for 3 months and until about a month ago I would have given this tv a 5 star rating. The picture quality is great, the set-up and function is amazing. It looks beautiful on the wall. I do love that there is only one wire connected to the tv and you connect everything to the box. Really great design... the art looks digital but the black and white photos and hand drawing art looks better. The picture quality of the TV is great. I am just not sure if its worth all the extra money after two months of working and then one month of crazy. Because we spent so much money we will continue to battle customer service to see what will happen. We might have just gotten a bad tv in the batch. Hoping Samsung comes through.

I actually like this Tv a bit more than I thought I would. At first hang, I didn’t get the art vibe from it. The wires were exposed though. After I ran the wires into the wall, it resembled art a lot better. Picture quality meets expectations as well. The smart functions are snappy. The art store does require a subscription to get access to more content past the preloaded. I downloaded the iPhone app and was able to easily upload family photos for a cool family photo setting.
