I just got it to day and so far I am loving it. It has taken me an hour or so to get everything set up and all my programs installed. The install and update of the laptop itself was about 30 minutes. It has little tiny settings on it which was driving me nuts but I found out how to make them bigger in the settings. It would be great for younger eyes on the little stuff but once you hit 40 your eyes don't see little things as well. YOU CAN CHANGE THAT. I am still getting used to it because the mouse, touchpad, and a few other things are different that my last laptop. Part of the reason I got the new laptop was because the previous laptop was way larger and was taking up too much room on my desk and the fan was pretty loud. This one I can hardly hear the fan. I did have it sitting on my lap on top of some blankets and it started getting pretty warm so I grabbed a box and put it on top of that and it cooled right off so be careful about having it on blankets. I found themes I could change and other things on Windows 10 I couldn't do on my last laptop. I am excited to see what else I can do with it.

This computer completely failed after about 10 days; it shut down and had to reboot every few minutes until one day it just wouldn't turn on. I'm grateful this happened before it would cost money to return it!

Every thing works great, except for the wireless internet connectivity. Tested the wireless signal strength next to my old laptop and the comparison wasn't even close. My five year old laptop blew it out of the water. Considering there is no Ethernet port this is a deal-breaker. Lenovo really needs to upgrade the wifi capability on this device before I would consider buying from them again.

Terrible customer service at Lenovo! I bought a replacement laptop for my son in college on Feb 3rd with an arrival date of 2/10... perfect - wrong! Lenovo forgot to mention that their factory in China that builds their Thinkpads was due for a weeklong holiday where nothing is built! Then combine that with our presidents holiday = no laptop until the last week in February. If I would have known about this significant delay I would have chosen an different computer! When I complained to customer service all they said was "sorry, there is nothing they could do" So far my experience with Lenovo has been frustrating and extremely disappointing and would not recommend them based on customer service. I am really hoping the laptop works well for my son but as of right now I don't have any confidence in it - I hope I am jumping to conclusions

When I bought this computer it was not because of the touch screen/pen. I never use the pen, but I do use the touchscreen more than I thought I would.
It has a great keyboard (thinkpad!) and it's very light, which I like. I also like that the screen opens all the way, though i don't put it into tablet mode very often. If you do use tablet mode, it has a cool feature where it folds/disables the keys so they don't get pressed.

In general, I prefer the X1 carbon, which I had as my work computer at my old job, but this one is a bargain and definitely the next best thing if you don't want to spend the extra money.

I've only had it for about 12 hours and so far it's great .. the things I like best are the keyboard travel and feel, the light weight but sturdy body , the SSD speed, the Win10 and MS Office integration and ease of setup, the almost instant login if you turn on and use the fingerprint reader, the battery life which I can tell will be really good since its been ON several hours and am only at 50%, the screen display resolution is fine (but no it's not as good as a retina iPad), the touch screen's pointing resolution is fine, I like the speedy Wifi, the pen looks like it might be useful in annotating and grabbing screen shots to send to friends. ( but it only works with MS Edge not my Google Chrome browser)..YT and other videos are fine too..

but most of all it will suit my needs for a truly portable PC just fine .. I hope I feel the same way in a month once I've had a chance to really set it up with all my apps and use it a bit more.. So, More to follow..
