In my last house, I had myQ and a Chamberlain garage door opener. We just moved and had craftsman. Also, myQ stopped support for HomeKit. This remote opener is exactly what I needed. It connects with both Alexa and HomeKit. Installation does take a bit of work, but I was able to install two in less than 90 minutes this morning. The kit comes with a garage door sensor (to tell the device if the door is open or closed). It also includes the device, and power. The app is great about walking you through setup and identifying which opener you have. The jumper was included to test the opener to ensure they worked correctly. The hardest part was using cable management to get the sensor installed in a place out of the way. Homekit and Alexa setup were both a breeze.
The app includes standard door open reminders, as well as an evening reminder if the door is left open. I set up a HomeKit automation to close the doors if left open in the evening as well. This is a great product!
