I use this to blend natural, unsweetened cacao powder into my hot milk frother. My daughter gave me a nice frother that heats the milk and blends the powder, but it isn't able to fully blend 2 tablespoons of cacao powder. I'm sure with a normal amount of sweetened cocoa mix it would work fine. This great little frother does a great job of blending the lumps of cacao powder into the milk, frothing it at the same time. It would also work great making cacao in a pot on the stove. I do not recommend using it to blend cacao in a mug because it froths so well that it slops milk over the edge of the mug. It has more power than the Zyliss frother I was using, and it's easier to clean because it has coils instead of the frothing "head" that Zyliss uses. It looks really nice sitting on its little stand on the counter, and I love that it comes in a color that matches my frothing pitcher. Definitely worth the money and I would buy it again!

It is a great handheld blender. My GF uses it almost every morning. No matter coffee or pre workout this helps blend it up near perfectly. Lots of power from 2 AA batteries however, after using it on a near constant basis for about 30 days the contact internally broke. I was still well under warranty but a little disappointed in how well it worked for it to only break unexpectedly. I already have my second one and it has been working perfectly again. Also the stand is a nice touch to keep it from rolling around in a drawer.

This is a quiet easy to use frother.
I took the advice from the other users. Use a larger cup to froth your cream or only fill it half way. This is a powerful little machine and will spill your drink if your cup is too full.

I’ve had 5 (!) electric milk frothers. All have died or produced pathetic foam. Aerocchino was sent back so many times I gave up, Zeppoli produced fantastic foam! Until it didn’t. I decided to try a cheap handheld one and this one is pretty decent. It does not give the super dense foam of the electric ones but it works. A bit on the bubbly side. I heat up the milk first and put it in a metal cup (about 1/3 full) to whisk. I like the fact the whisk only works when you depress the button.
