Let me just say that before I bought my Roomba, I NEVER vacuumed. Like, never. And as such, I never really realized how gross my floors were. I have hardwood floors, with only a couple area rugs, so I only ever really noticed dirt and fibers accumulate there. As such, I would spot vacuum. It wasn’t until I ran my Roomba for the very first time that I realized just what filth I was living in. I’m honestly embarrassed I ever had anyone over. The dirt tray was full after one hour and a half session with my 700 square foot condo. My hair, my chihuahua’s hair, small rocks, and all kinds of dust and debris were picked up. Seeing just how much was collected, I ran the Roomba again once it was fully charged, and the tray was half-full this time!I have had this robot for a month now. It’s scheduled to run every day. I take care of it, too, with weekly maintenance including taking apart and cleaning the brushes. I also plan to change the filter once a month. It’s worth it to me.Some concerns I had before I bought this and how I have addressed or adapted to are as follows….How much does the Roomba actually pick up? Well, after cleaning and emptying it once a week, with my 750 square foot condo, I find the tray is half full of dust and debris after running it once a day for the entire week.Do I have to keep an eye on the Roomba, or can I let it just do its’ thing? I’ve also put a push pin in my wall to raise the cord that attaches to the outlet, so Roomba can clean the baseboards.Overall, I’m incredibly satisfied with the Roomba. My dog isn’t very scared of it, but he steers clear anyways, whereas he used to be so terrified of my other vacuum that I had to put him in the other room and close the doors. The Roomba is quiet enough that I can still watch TV (though admittedly I have to turn up the volume slightly, which is to be expected). The best part is being able to schedule it via the app, or control it with my Echo devices. I am so satisfied with my Roomba, that I’m currently saving up for the Braava mopping robot from iRobot for my kitchen and bathroom. It’s only been a month, and I wish I had made this purchase much, MUCH sooner!

Overall, I’m incredibly satisfied with the Roomba. My dog isn’t very scared of it, but he steers clear anyways, whereas he used to be so terrified of my other vacuum that I had to put him in the other room and close the doors. The Roomba is quiet enough that I can still watch TV (though admittedly I have to turn up the volume slightly, which is to be expected). The best part is being able to schedule it via the app, or control it with my Echo devices. I am so satisfied with my Roomba, that I’m currently saving up for the Braava mopping robot from iRobot for my kitchen and bathroom. It’s only been a month, and I wish I had made this purchase much, MUCH sooner!

Let me just say that before I bought my Roomba, I NEVER vacuumed. Like, never. And as such, I never really realized how gross my floors were. I have hardwood floors, with only a couple area rugs, so I only ever really noticed dirt and fibers accumulate there. As such, I would spot vacuum. It wasn’t until I ran my Roomba for the very first time that I realized just what filth I was living in. I’m honestly embarrassed I ever had anyone over. The dirt tray was full after one hour and a half session with my 700 square foot condo. My hair, my chihuahua’s hair, small rocks, and all kinds of dust and debris were picked up. Seeing just how much was collected, I ran the Roomba again once it was fully charged, and the tray was half-full this time!

I have had this robot for a month now. It’s scheduled to run every day. I take care of it, too, with weekly maintenance including taking apart and cleaning the brushes. I also plan to change the filter once a month. It’s worth it to me.

Some concerns I had before I bought this and how I have addressed or adapted to are as follows….

How much does the Roomba actually pick up? Well, after cleaning and emptying it once a week, with my 750 square foot condo, I find the tray is half full of dust and debris after running it once a day for the entire week.

Do I have to keep an eye on the Roomba, or can I let it just do its’ thing? The answer is a little mixed. I watched it for the first week, checking for any problems that would occur. I did have to buy risers for one of my couches, that Roomba just couldn’t *quite* clear under from certain angles. I also keep my closet door closed, since Roomba likes to go over the track but then get stuck. I also have to occasionally move it ever-so-slightly once in a while when it rolls over a particular area of the rug near my bed that has been warped slightly and Roomba thinks it’s “stuck near a cliff”. And about once a week, I have to readjust a lightweight bookshelf that has been moved by Roomba about a half inch to the right when it hits the right spot (this could be solved by adding more weight to the shelving unit or anchoring it to the wall; I’m just lazy, hence my lack of vacuuming pre-Roomba). These are all VERY minor inconveniences, almost unnoticeable.

I have so much furniture, where am I going to put my Roomba when it’s not in use? See the attached photo, and you might be able to tell I’ve hidden my Roomba underneath one of my couches that rests flush against a wall. This took a little test and adjust because the Roomba initially loved to move the charging base when it bumped into it during cleaning, so I secured the base to my floor with a little bit of earthquake-safe putty. I’ve also put a push pin in my wall to raise the cord that attaches to the outlet, so Roomba can clean the baseboards.

I did not receive any of the wall barriers to help set up in mapping. Extremely disappointed.

Compre la 981 y la pensé reemplazar por esta … no funciona ni remotamente eficiente.
Se para a la mitad del aspirado, no es eficiente, no va a todas las áreas, es repetitiva y no vuelve a la base con frecuencia. La devolví con muchos esfuerzos y …. Mi peor error.
Luego ilusamente compre la i3+, NO IMAGINAN LA PÉSIMA INVERSIÓN. No figura en mis compras de Amazon, tuve que viajar por fallecimiento de mis padres y cuando regresé fue que la abrí y puse a trabajar 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ parecía funcionar y me emocioné pero a la tercera vez que la usé comenzó a salí un alerta que desocupara la bolsa de residuos. La saqué y la desocupe. Al colocarla de nuevo sale una falla que no deja ni arrancar a este llamado “robot” QUE ROBO. La hemos revisado y cambiado de mil maneras.
NADIE BRINDA ATENCION. La tengo de adorno con la caja intacta y la aspiradora sin us
Es pésima!!! Entre más servicio supuestamente presta el robot menos funciona. NO LA RECOMIENDO Y MENOS A ROOMBA que no dan servicio ni Amazon ni nadie.
NO COMPREN ESTO TAN COSTOSO QUE NO SIRVE.

I am very Happy whit this irobbot
