I initially wrote a 1 star review to get the attention of customer service to replace the hook in my scooter that broke, after exchanging emails I receive the replacement for my scooter and it worked pretty well! Customer service was nice, they did ask for my amazon order number and details as well as pictures of broken part.On to the scooter review…!!This scooter has been an amazing purchase! I live in Savannah is a small town with plenty of bike lanes, this scooter has made my commute so much easier. Its smooth and easy to ride, my dad got a different brand and upon comparing them one of the benefits of this scooter is that you can set the speed range you want, if you are a beginner and you are scared of going too fast you can set it to 20miles per hour, and when you hit the accelerator it will go anywhere between 0-20 which is amazing for safety, you can go and set it to the max if you’d want. Easy to park and easy to take anywhere once is folded, I carry it inside and out my place all the time. Breaks and accelerator work smoothly and fine, I feel super safe on this scooter and it’s so much fun.If you live in a small town with the appropriate bike lanes and your thinking between a bike and this scooter. GET THIS SCOOTER, you wont regret it!!!

Fun cement surfing for the whole family unless you exceed the weight limit. We bought 1 for our tween, it was so fun we had to buy 2 more so we could ride with him! Super fun!

1 thing that happened was 1 of the decks was cracked, so I contacted Megawheels directly via their website and they had the best customer service. They had a sense of urgency and sent the part I needed right away! It's cool I was able to buy from Amazon, but still was able to get the parts I needed from the manufacturer because I couldn't find the part anywhere online. Thanks for the scooters. My family and I LOOOOVE THEM!!!!!

We purchased this for my teenage son. First time out after a full charge scooter completely shut off in the middle of a ride that lasted less than 2 minutes. Brought it home. Next day turned it on, thought everything was ok….took for a ride about 2 minutes in E5 light came on and scooter shut down. There seems to be some sort of a short in the electric circuit of the scooter. Sent it back to get a refund. Wouldn’t buy this brand again.

This scooter has been great so far. With the exception that the front light never worked. I’m guessing that’s why the person who sold this as a “Used” product, did. I had to buy a front light so I wish I just would have spent the extra 50$ to buy it brand new. Oh well lesson learned. But the scooter is fun everything else worked on it.

My 12 year old son loves how easy this scooter is to ride around our neighborhood every day. It offers the perfect speed for him. In addition, Amazon customer service was excellent when we needed a part fixed. They responded immediately to help us resolve the issue in a timely manner. We highly recommend this scooter!

I have been meaning to write this review ever since I bought this, a bit more than a year ago.

I have been using the scooter almost daily for commuting, and it has been very stable and trustworthy.
Its combination of price, range, and max speed is almost unbeatable. I had previously bought a Segway Ninebot scooter with very good reviews for the same price, but max speed was lower AND the battery was very tight for my daily commute (8 miles). I returned it and bought this, and haven't regretted it for a day!

Maybe the range for the full-speed option with some traffic light stops is closer to 10-11 miles, but you can extend that by running on the 2nd speed option, which is a bit slower but still quite fast (same as full speed of Ninebot). Just for reference, full-speed option is like a fast bike (you go past most bikes on the street), medium speed is like a medium bike (fast bikes go past you).

I had one important mishap, that was however resolved swiftly and at no cost:
a couple of months back, after a year of almost daily use, the scooter suddenly stopped working. Totally out of the blue, in a period where I was using it daily, one day it would only run for 50 meters, and run out of battery.
I contacted support, and they were very responsive! They told me to send the scooter back, they sent me a UPS prepaid tag for it, and I received it back ~20 days later, fully functional, cleaned(!), and without extra charge!! They were really kind, and sent me several emails during that period, to make sure I had sent it, to tell me it has been sent back, to make sure I got it back, and to ask if I was happy with the fix. Simply great customer service!

So far so good on this scooter, I didn’t cost a ton of money so expectations we’re low. It was a birthday present for my son and day one the button for the speed mode got stuckt. He rode around for almost a week with the button stuck pushed in so he couldn’t change the speed, I started the return but didn’t have the time outside of work to get to the hub. One day it popped out and he was so excited to be able to go fast. My wife has the GoTrax Flex so I use this when I follow along with her to ride in the city. I went maybe two miles off and on full speed and got down to half a battery. We went to a restaurant and the market, testing how much her basket could carry. By this time the GoTrax had just went to 3/4 batter while I was at 1/2. We made it home with the same amount left. On the up side, it holds the same charge for days and charges faster than the manual suggests. As for the mileage, it’s great for kids to play around the neighborhood for a few hours. It could even get them to school within a few miles and survive the trip back on a full charge. For an adult adding maybe double or triple the weight, it’s amazing the speed stays the same so that’s probably why I drained so much power so fast. I’d suggest this for older children, teens, and first time riding adults.
