I have had quite a few cordless Dysons. This one is the best so far. It is amazing just how much it will pick up. We live in a area where we have wind, plus we live in a area where there's quite a bit of sandy soil. I have a and great vacuum that really has great suction and can pull a lot of the sandy soil out of my carpets.
This cordless Dyson also has great suction. For in between time I use the Dyson. The first time I used I was so surprised at the sandy soil that it extracted from my carpets. This is the first time that I have noticed that.
Dyson has always been a great quality vacuum and I also use a Dyson blower dryer. Always a great product.
The cost is very expensive that can be a draw back for some one in a strict budget.

Excited to Vacuum!!
Great adulting after Christmas gift for myself! Read the reviews and decided to try it out! From the partially full canister picture you can tell it was beyond needed, and that was just from a small patch for a few minutes. BLOWN AWAY! I don't believe my old Shark was really doing anything anymore. I have been avoiding the Dyson price tag for years. 2024 was the destined year! The box was packaged well, little taller than a yard stick. The Dyson box was in a cardboard protective sleeve inside a shipping box. I let the battery charge just over an hour while I was in a virtual meeting. Easy to assemble the main unit and to dump the canister. I have no complaints, I am so grateful to have the power of a good vacuum. I am not picky with the holding of the trigger button to use it. The weight feels fine as well. I thought it was going to feel heavy based on reviews, this is not a concern for me. I have 4 dogs and a house that is a mix of tile and carpet. Until I remove the carpet this Dyson will be the best investment! Definitely ask friends or family to try theirs before dismissing due to price. I wish I had known people with one, I would have gotten sooner. This is only the first few hours, I will update if my excitement changes.

Upon opening the (undamaged) boxes, I found most pieces are missing. I received only the Motorbar cleaner head, main hose and dustbin/motor. All tools are missing, as well as the low-reach adapter, charger, and wall dock. Of the pieces we do have, they are damaged/heavily used, with hair and dust in the Motorbar cleaner head, and dirt in the dustbin.
I always verify sellers and reviews before ordering products on Amazon, and this was a big disappointment. I love my Dyson products, and will continue ordering directly from them in the future.
Heavily used, dirty, missing most pieces
