I was looking to replace my 2nd gen, when I saw these were on sale. Between the sale and my rewards, the 3rd and 2nd gen were the same price so I treated myself. I'm so glad I did! It's a little adjustment getting used to the different size. They kind of felt like they weren't secure in my ear but they were, and never fell out.
The sound quality is great. I don't know any other way to describer, other than saying it felt like the sound was all around me and not just in my ear. I was waiting on my car to be serviced, watching a show on my iPad. I was so paranoid and kept taking one out. I just new they weren't paired properly and everyone in the waiting room could hear my loud tv show. That's how good the sound is.

looks used even though I ordered brand new one :(
I made absolutely sure to order brand new ones because I was afraid of used ones. Sadly these looked used :( the box was open, the case and earbud has little nicks and imperfections and it was also dusty! The tape peel looks like it's been removed before too. I myself don't use apple products but this is a gift for my boyfriend and I really hope it works!

1. Ergonomía y diseño. En la parte del diseño, se ajustan bien a mi oreja, al punto que puedo traerlos por varias horas y no noto molestias, incluso (debido a su diseño abierto) en ocasiones es como si se me olvidara que los traigo puestos.
2. Funcionalidad. Estos audífonos funcionan excelente con dispositivos del ecosistema Apple, afortunadamente cuento con iPad, iPhone y MacBook por lo que el cambio entre dispositivos es maravillosamente rápido, estoy hablando de que basta con poner pausa a lo que reproduzca tu iPhone y poner play a tu iPad para que los audífonos cambien al iPad.
3. Iconicidad. Entiendo qué hay gente que no le gusta la marca por lo que es, sin embargo es innegable que se vuelve un icono con los productos que lanza, esto hace que los AirPods puedan convertirse en prácticamente un accesorio de moda, lo cual personalmente me agrada.
4. Funcionalidades extra. Tiene muchas funciones que están “escondidas” así que invito a cualquier propietario del dispositivo a que indague un poco en todo lo que estos pequeños audífonos ofrecen. De igual forma quiero recalcar el audio espacial, el cual noto muy bien logrado y me hace re-escuchar mis canciones favoritas con este añadido, también es propio mencionar lo excelente que funciona el seguimiento de cabeza hace que sientas que el audio se encuentra frente a ti y puedes acercarte a los instrumentos individualmente.
En conclusión: me parecen audífonos excelentes incluso por el precio, aunque recomiendo esperar alguna promo. Así que si eres una persona que disfruta de la música, de salir a la calle escuchando lo que te gusta, la facilidad que brinda el maños libres (el micrófono se escucha fantástico) y tienes por lo menos un iPhone, los recomiendo muchísimo, aunque si no te interesa el apartado del audio espacial, recomiendo que vayas por la segunda generación la cual a grosso modo solo pierde la funcionalidad antes mencionada.

Tenía un poco de miedo de que fueran piratería, sin embargo Amazon mantiene sus estándares muy altos al momento de permitir a los vendedores ofertar y la tienda es la de apple, así que tengan la seguridad de que son originales, el embalaje fue muy bueno.

Excelente compra sin duda, más cuando los tomas con algún descuento, mejor, yo los compré en $2,800 aproximadamente menos de $3000, para unos airpods 3ra generación se me hace execelente.
Espero poder haber ayudado a alguien a resolver alguna duda ya que yo antes de comprarlos tenía también ciertas dudas pero me apoye de varios comentarios buenos, confíe y gane, espero hacer ganar a alguien más.
